Next Door Wine2018 JB Cabernet Sauvignon – Sold Out

We decided back in 2017 to create a Napa Valley Cabernet that would emulate some of the characteristics of our premium estate Cabernet but at a lower price point that would appeal to the restaurant and hotel trade. Being able to develop a dry-farmed, hand-picked, and sorted aged wine that they could offer by the glass at a truly affordable price point was our main objective.

The wine is layered with flavors of dark cherry, mocha, and a hint of pepper and produced from grapes grown in our sister vineyard, situated at the foot of Mt. St Helena in Calistoga. We handcrafted in small lots and aged for 24 months in two-thirds new French oak barrels.

Although our JB vineyard is not certified organic like our main vineyard we always farm using zero chemicals in the pesticides and never modify the structure with additives or enhancements, this is a hand-crafted very low-volume wine designed to be enjoyed any day of the week.
